More and more people are coming to appreciate these natural works of art and use them to great effect to enhance the décor in their homes and office spaces.


Whole Ammonites and shell fossils look wonderful in bath and shower room areas and indeed interspersed in bookcases these fossils and mineral ornaments make a refreshing distraction to the eye. Fossil plaques make most unusual sculptural displays and wall hangings, creating a wonderful contrast in modern buildings and apartments. In particular, the striking black and white Orthoceras fossils polished make wonderful table tops. Depending on the choice of mounting and height a client may require, they can be used as dining, coffee, conservatory or side tables. Orthoceras are available as very tall obelisks or in natural three dimensional form as plaques, in various sizes.

Fossilised wood slices or in natural log form as sculptures and ornaments have some most unusual rich colours. These too can be available as very large natural slices for table tops and also in fossilised mosaic designs for round table tops. Very occasionally I can obtain table tops as one-off as the one on the stock list reproduced here.

All these items give an unusual and unique dimension to furnishing homes and offices.
