A particular lovely and fascinating form of quartz
The patterns are made up of round, or spherical, inclusions of
contrasting colours 'floating' in solid Jasper
How this is formed is still a scientific mystery
Found on the east coast of Madagascar it is only visible at low tide
and has to be collected by hand from a boat
